Answer-It is a plan to spouro new readers for tUo Herald, also to make collections on old subBcrlptlons, iu re-turnl for which about ?3,500 ia prizes will he given awaj'. Q.-How will the prizes be distributed? A.-There will be ten prizes, headed by a 11500 grand prize. The prizes will be �lven to the candidates according to the votes accurcd in the coutesL. .Q.-^How may voles be secured? A.-Votes will be allowed on all subscription payments to the Oaily and Weekly Herald, according to the vote schedule, published clsowhero. Q-Who may enter the contestt A.-^Any nmi or woman, boy or pirl, of good character, residing within: the circulation zone of the Herald. Q.-H I enter the contest and fall to win one of the regular prizes, what will I receive? A.-All candidates who are actively engaged in the contest and fall to win one of the regular prizes will be given 10% of the money thoy collect. Q.-How shall I proceed to enter the contest? A.-Send in your name at once. Use the nomination blank, information blank or send a letter to the contest manager. Q.-In what order will the prizes be given out? A.-The candidate having the highest vote (regardless of residence location) will bo given the choice ol! the grand prize options, tlio candidate having the second highest vote will have the choice of the remaining nine prizes ,and so on until all the prizes are taken up. Q.-Are candidates restricted to their own town or location in soliciting votes (subscriptions)? A.-^Xo, candidates may solicit subscriptions anywhere and have as many peoplo helping thorn as they can get interested in their behalf. How to Enter the Contest ^ An^ person of good repute residing within the circulation zone of the Herald may enter, and compete for the prizes. Men, women, boys and girls aJl will hare an equal chance tor the splendid prizes. Send in your name at once. Use the Nomination blank. If you wlah to have further particulars be- -fore entering send in the information blank A representative of the Herald will call or write you and explain everything. Ah soon as your name has been entered, receipt books and other supplies will be furnished, and candidate may start to work at once. The contest will be divided into three voting periods. Twenty per cent more votes will be allowed during the flrst period than the second period and a further reduction of 20 per cent Is made on the third period schedule. The Country Candidaties There are no districts in the Herald contest. The prizes will be awarded in the order In which candidates finish. Candidates from points oiitsldo of Lethbridge will have an equal chance with the city candidates. There will be so many working in the city that the votes are sure to be widely distributed, all of which will bo to the advantage of the outside workers.
