Born in Battineau, North Dakota, the late Mr. Poole came to Burdett in 1909 as an infant with his parents and had resided there until his passing. He farmed and had been associated with livestock throughout his life time. Besides his loving wife he is survived by one son, Mr. William E. Poole of Burdett; one daughter, Mrs. S. (Juanita) Wilkins of Swift Current, Sask.; eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by one sister and two brothers. The funeral ser- vice will be held at p.m. on Wednesday, October 9, 1974, in Burdett United Church, with Rev. Oliver Hodge officiating. Interment will follow in the Burdett Cemetery. C2440 ANDERSON Archie, beloved husband of the late Annie Anderson of Coleman, passed away suddenly at his Coleman residence on Sunday, October 6, 1974, at age 85 years. Born in Cardenden, Fyfeshire, Scotland, July 14, 1889, he came to Coleman in 1910 and has resided here since. He was employed as a miner at the International Mine until his retirement in 1951. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Annie Kinnear in Coleman in 1942 and also eight brothers and one sister. He was a member of the Coleman Local of the U.M.W.A. Survivors include one son William of Coleman; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Kinnear of Coleman and one sister in Scotland. Funeral service will be conducted in Fantin's Coleman Chapel on Wednesday, October 9 at p.m., with Rev. Douglas Dunn officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot, Coleman Union Cemetery.
