Readymade 4-H Beef Club held their first meeting of the year at Readymade School. Mrs. E Miller Senior and junior leaders are as record Diane Marg feeds and Joe Ernie adult Mrs W. and assis- tant Mr G. Mr. E. Mr. J and Mr. J. Mantler The first meeting of Vauxhall 4-H Needles and Pins club was held Oct 22. The leaders Mrs. B. Mrs J. Mrs. J. deLeyer and Mrs. J. Odland The elected officers are Heather Maria Wanda Diana Van Rochelle Redekop and ju- noir counsellor Cherly Unruh. Members are planning two meetings a a business meeting and a work meeting Kevin Brewin has been elected president of Grassy Lake 4-H Beef club at a re- organizational held in the Chamberlain School on Oct. 29 Other officers elected at the meeting Louise Roy club Donna John assistant Frank Brewin and Benny Gross. The re-organization meeting of the Taber Bon Ayr 4-H Beef Club was held Nov. 2 at Taber Cafe. The following officers have been Tage Debby Keely Cammy club John Yur- cato and club Sheila Krizsan. Club leader is Brian Anderson assisted by Lynne Wenbourne and Lee McDonald. Meetings have been scheduled for p m. on the first Friday of each month in Taber Central School. Impromptu speeches highlighted a meeting of the Warner 4-H Beef Club Nov. 3. Voicing opinions and observations were Evan Todd Tracy Kevin Reese and Wade McKen- zie The next meeting will be held at Warner Fire Hall or senior citizen's home Dec. 1 at pm what a Lethbridge Northern 4-H Beef Club met Nov. 5 at the Picture Butte Municipal Library. The meeting was opened with the pledge and flag .salute led Pete Tam- -minga. New members stated their and birthday. It was decided by the members that the max- imum weight of the calves this year would be 700 pounds. New uniforms were discussed and a com- mittee was formed to look into the matter The monthly meeting of the Shortgrass 4-H Beef Club was held Nov. 7 A decision was made to have a family night March 16. year pins will be purchased Two RCMP guests show- ed a film on Mountie history. The November meeting of the McNally 4-H Beef Club was held at McNally School. There were members present. Weight range of the calves was decided at 350- 550 Ibs Brian Murray told the club about heifer and carcass classes Stan LaValley was present to explain how the record books will be marked this year. The next meeting is December 5 On Nov. 7 the Timber Trails Multiple 4-H Club held a meeting in the Livingstone School. A trip to the Ice Capades in Calgary was discussed for a tour. McNally Tailor Tacks are planning a Dec. 8 Christmas party at the home of Mrs Greeno Our guest speaker was district home Marilyn Tatem who gave an in- teresting demonstration on fondues Lethbridge 4-H Light- Horse Club met at the Bowman Arts Centre in November There were 23 members present. It was after looking at several patterns that we make short vests in 4-H with the help of Mrs Curtis After the meeting was adjourned the club members took part in a game involving questions on horses.
