Lethbridge Herald, The (Newspaper) - November 24, 1972, Lethbridge, Alberta The voices of Rich Little live on Julie's new show PAGE 7 LOS ANGELES (ABC) Impressionist Rich Little, whose repertoire includes more then a hundred voices, brings many of these to life as a regular on the ABC's The Julie Andrews Hour, seen Sun- days at 8 p.m. on Channel 7. Rich, who was seen last season on The Kopykats on The ABC Comedy Hour, made his professional debut in a motion picture at the ape of 11 and has been Roing full steam ahead ever since. Born Richard Caruthers Little in Ottawa, Canada, he at- tended Lisgar Collegiate in that city he delighted every- one (including the staff) with imitations of the teachers, He then developed an act with partner Gecff Scott which won Pick the Stars, a network TV competition. Numerous little theatre plays led to a drama festival best ac- tor award for his performance in Bus Stop, followed by disc jockey service at DFET, Smith Falls, Canada, and a talk show- in Ottawa. In 1964, Judy Garland booked Rich on her variety show and launched his career in the Uni- ted States. He appeared for a season as the kookie neighbor on ABC's Love on a Rooftop, has also had roles on the net- work's Love, American Style, That Girl and The Flying Nun.
