Mrs. Coutts was born in England on May 1887. She im- migrated to where she married David Coutts at Weir Kansas in 1909. She came to Canada in 1912 and resided at Hardieville until when she moved to the Broxburn District. She spent a few years in Lethbridge before moving back to Brox- burn some three years ago. She was a member of the Central Church of Christ. She was a wonderful knitter and spent many hours at this pastime. Survivors include four David A. of Sun- John of Bow Jim of Fort Macleod and Jesse of two Mrs. Ella Jordan of Edmonton and Mrs. Flora Makinson of 22 25 great- grandchildren and one Mrs. Sarah Reid of Predeceased by her David in one in 1923 and by a in 1965.
