A Canadian forces Argus continued the search durrag the night for the Beechcraft plane that carried four persons. Faint signals, believed to be from a crash-position beacon were heard twice Tuesday, bul have not been heard again. Fog and drizzle, which have hampered search operations, were forecast to break today. Passengers on Lhe missing plane included Neemee Mullra-yok, an Eskimo woman suffer ing labor complications, and 15-year old David Kootok who had an appendicitis attack. The other two persons were the pilot, Martin Kartell, and Judy Hill, an English nurse from the Spence Bay, N.WT.. nursing fade search The two sick persons were being taken to hospital in Yel-lowknife from Cambridge Bay, a small settlement on Victoria Island, miles north of Edmonton. At least 60 persons are Involved in the search. Seven planes, including the Argus and a Twin Otter are from Canadian Forces bases. Gateway Aviation of Edmonton, owners of the missing plane, has two planes searching and another Twin Otter is being used by the HCMP. The downed plane carried extra clothing and enough rations to last five people about sii days. Temperatures in the area have been as cold as 20 below zero. Most parts of the Arctic have only about four hours of day light at this time of year. The missing craft is silver-colored, making it difficult to spot on the snow-covered lundra.
