Tait, Phone 95, Raymond, Alta, Raymond Puts Into a Publicity Campaign Other Southern Alberta Towns are Likely to Follow Suit In keeping with the general spirit of progrew in Southern Al- berta towns, Raymond, the home f the Canadian tugar industry, has wakened up to the fact that a town should advertise. Th.e Herald has been chosen the medium through wnich this pub- licity campaign shall be waged. The town council, Board pf Trade, merchants and busmen men of the town a sum of mon- ey amounting to mgre than into the scheme. The Herald has appointed W. McD. Tail, southern representative of the paper, with an oversight of news, advertising and circulation, and the plan is to put the whole of the southern country on the map. The coming of the Dry' Farming Congress to Lethbridge next year has served as an impetus to publicity, and will benefit not only Lethbridge but all the surrounding country. The Raymond pages will appear in the Wtdnesday and Saturday Issues of the Daily Herald, and will run through the entire eircu- lation. Next v.eek another page will be ruled up in which Stirling advertising and news will have a place.
