C. Cameron Development Officer BEARD Passed away suddenly in the city on November 1973 Charles Beard at the age of 79 beloved husband of Mrs. Daisy Louisa Beard of 1722 2 Ave. A North. Born and raised in England the late Mr. Beard came to Canada in 1920 to Lethbridge. He served with the Royal Engineers dur- ing the First World War and has worked with the Eleventh Air Cadets for 17 years. Mr. Beard was 'employed at the Federal Government Elevator in Lethbridge for 24 years retir- ing in 1959. He was a Life member of the Royal Cana- dian Legion and an ardent lawn bowler. Besides his lov- ing wife he is survived by one Miss Grace Beard at two Mrs. G. Cooke in Mrs. A. W. of one Jim Beard in England. He was predeceased by one son Ted in the R.C.A.F. during the Se- cond World War in 1944. The Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on November 13th in Martin Bros.
