This is an essen- tial point which must not bo over- looked. It need not be pointed out that no matter how excellent the pos- tal arrangements are, with the hun- dreds of thousands of soldiers now fn the field, the task of delivering these packages on time is stupendous. The Herald therefore advises the friends ot those in the firing line to at once pre- pare their kindly gifts and have them dispatched within a reasonable time. A Good Principle On the principle of better sooner than late It might be advisable to pur- chase these gifts right away.
