A big help are the Dear Page letters received from members of the Edmonton Grads, the women's basketball team he coached from 1915 to 1940. He was president of the In- dependent Citizens Association of Alberta, then the Alberta Progressive Conservative Asso- ciation. Mr. Page was on a committee that studied Alberta's Liquor Control Act, apparently repre- resenting the non-smoking, non- drinking fraternity; a director of the Canadian Council of Christians and Jews, and hon- orary chairman of the Alberta Air Cadet League of Canada. B'nai B'rith, Lodge 2062, gave him an award "in recognition of outstanding service to the people of Alberta."
