There was a good company present tho speaker being Mr. S. S. Dunham, of Lethbrldge, speaking on tho advantages of the farmers' organization and the work which the U. F, A, ot Alberta had done and the stand the farmers of tho three Western Province.s had taken on vital subjects affecting the welfare of the farmer and the provinces generally. It was mentioned during the meeting that tho membership of tho local was 45 and that it was. hoped to increase the number to 100 during the spring drive, after the meeting the hall was cleared for dancing. Serious Accident. On Sunday evening a serious accident occurred. A collision between cars driven by Jess Miller and Carl Shervey. The car driven by Miller was bailly smashed and the car driven by Shervey was also damaged. Jess Miller and two occupants of his car were Injured. Jess Miller himself somehow got his leg broken In two places. Wager's man got his hand badly cut and Ray Flynn also sustained Injury to hla face. Dr. Gershaw was quickly over 'from Medicine Hat and took .less Miller and Wager's man to the hospital in the Hat where they are being looked after by tho staff there. Both drivers were making tor shelter from the storm ot rain.
