Myers High School, Taber, has been selected from 16 applicants for the post of principal of the Enchant School. He takes over his new position Aug. 27. He has seven years teaching experience end replaces Siegfried Jabs. Mr. Jabs becomes principal of the Hanna High School. A pensive mood Miss Kanani Nagi, 13, of Magrath, sits on the steps of the Magrath Municipal Hcspital after undergoing an appendectomy. Miss Nagai is a student at the Magralh High School, A corsage for director Karen Chester presents Mrs. Marjorie Hart, director of the Fort Macleod Centennial Singers, with a corsage. The girls appreciate everything their director doing for them. Motors opened by mayor RAYMOND (I1NS) Mayor Robert Graham recently cut the ribbon for the official opc-ning Of the 12-staff service' area with a four-car show room nsw building for Raymond Motors 'ompany Ltd. Raymond Motors lias been owned and operated by the four j Kamitomo brothers Doug, Ken John and Roy since 1952, (when ;hey purchased King Mciors one of the criminal gar- ages and service station in Al- berta.) the original building burned March 3, 1972. Mayor Graham said at the ribbon cutting: "Kamitomo Brothers have achieved their goal, a building they have the right to bo proud of and one the people of Raymond are proud of.'' Herb Boyd, regional manager of Ford Motor Company, Ed- monton, said, "Kamitomo Brothers became Ford Motor agents for Raymond 17 years ago, they have been good years for the Ford Company." He spoke of the fire which claimed the building and the great financial loss sustained by the four brothers at that time. "We of the Ford Company hope it was not a day of dis- aster, but a day to make a better day." Mr. Boyd presented Doug Kamitomo, president of the company, %vith the "Truck Leadership Award" one of the leading awards for Ford deal- ers. Mr. Kamitomo spoke of the loyal support given to their business during the days follow- ing the fire when they operat- ed under the stress in tempor- ary quarters. He said, "We owe all to you who have given us courage when we needed it most; on be- half of myself and brothers I wish to thank you all." Representing Ford Company of Canada was Murray Jackson of the central office at Oak- ville, Out; Herb Boyd, region- al manager for Alberta; and staff members Doug Johnston, John Robinson, Clark Boltcn and Neil Seimans. The people of Raymond and the area was well represented by many who came to express best wishes. Another cruise ship for Cunard Cunard Line is to take de- livery of an 800-passenger (380 cabin) cruise ship in 1975. It will be a sistership of the vessel ordered by Cunard in Novem- ber. When delivered, it will com- plete the fleet of five Cunard passenger ships in operation, including the Queen 2, the new Cunard Ambassador and the one-year- c.u Cunard Adventurer. r-.
