Lethbridge Herald, The (Newspaper) - May 24, 1974, Lethbridge, Alberta In Memoriams Cards Of Thanks BIRTH ARNOLDUSSEN Clarence and Johanna Arnoldussen are proud to announce the arrival of their second a Joel born May 8 4 oz. at Lethbridge Municipal Hospital. A brother for Jonas. Proud grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. J. Arnoldussen and Mr. and Mrs. G. Feyter of Fort Macleod. 2080-25 DEATH ANDERSON beloved wife of Nels Anderson of passed away in a Calgary hospital on May at age 61 years. Survivors include one Mrs. E. Castellano of two Warren of Russel of two sisters and one brother. Cremation was made in Calgary. A memorial funeral service will be held in Fantin's Coleman Chapel on May 25 at with Capt. Ralph Morris officiating. Following the remains are to be interred in the family plot in Fort Macleod. FANTIN CHAPELS is in charge. C8920 DEATH NOSS Passed away in the city on May following a lengthy ill- Mrs. Anna M. Noss at the age of 90 years of the Edith Cavell Nursing beloved wife of the late Mr. Ole Noss. Born and raised in Wisconsin. The late Mrs. Noss came to Canada in 1910 to Alta. and in 1924 moved to the Lethbridge District. In 1929 she moved into the city of Lethbridge where she has resided until her passing. She is survived by two Merlin and both of eight and two Otto and Andrew both of Wise. She was a member of the Auxiliary to the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a member of the Old Age Pensioners. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on May 1974 in Martin Bros. Memorial 703 13th Street with Rev. A. T. King officiating. Interment will follow in the family Mountain View Cemetery. MARTIN BROS. Directors of Funeral Service. C8921 DEATH MOTE May Clarence aged 67 beloved husband of Mrs. Nellie Vulcan. Born St. came to the Nanton district 1928 and to the Vulcan district in 1948. Retired to the Town of Vulcan in 1971. He was member of the IOOF. Besides his loving he is survived by one Mrs. Jim and one son Fort five one brother Fred Ont. Services at the Church of May 25 at the Rev. Douglas Barrie officiating. He was born in June 1893 and had been a resident of Hillcrest for many years. Remains are to be forwarded to Pennsylvania for funeral service and to be held in the Mount Carmel Pittsburgh. FANTIN CHAPELS in charge of forwarding arrangements. C8919 SIMPSON Passed away suddenly in the city on Thurs- May Mrs. Maud Simpson at the age of 63 beloved wife of Mr. Clare C. Simpson of No. 1410 43rd Street South. raised and educated in following her marriage the late Mrs. Simpson and her husband moved to Lethbridge where they resided until 1956 at which time they moved to Del Bonita where her husband was employed by Canadian Customs. In June 1969 they returned to Lethbridge where she has resided until her sudden passing. She is' survived by two Robert of Grande John of one Mrs. B. F. McFadden of two one Mrs. Sadie McGillivary of one Mr. John A. Mulligan of Calgary. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Lethbridge Shrine Club. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on May 1974 in St. Augustine Anglican with Rev. L. Frank Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. MARTIN BROS.
