TV network acquitted of charges TORONTO The CTV Television Network Ltd has been acquitted Thursday on charges of sex discrimination against a woman reporter it fired Aug. 1972. Provincial court Judge Alexander Davidson ruled Joan McLellan was paid less than her male counterparts in the CTV newsroom because she did not have the same experience and ability they did Miss McLellan said she was paid a year as a reporter with CTV's national about to less than three men doing a similar job. The judge dismissed a second charge against CTV.
