Funeral service will be conducted from Knox United Church Taber, Thursday, May 7 at 2 p.m., with Rev. Ken Morris officiating. Funeral services will be held in the Immaculate Heart Roman Catholic Church in Cardston on Wednesday, May 6, 1970 at 10 a.m., with Father Joseph Joly as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Standoff Cemetery. Prayers will be said in the lounge of the St. Paul Anglican Church on Tuesday (today) evening. C7899 ALDOUS Passed in the city on Saturday, May 2, 1970, following a lengthy illness, Edith Ada, aged 79 years, beloved wife of Mr. William G. Aldous, formerly of 802 15th St. S. Born in England in 1890, the late Mrs. Aldous moved to Calgary in 1913, and in the late 1920's came to Lethbridge, where she has resided until her passing. Besides her loving husband, Bill, she is survived by one son. Hoy A. Aldous of Lethbridge; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Letts of Osoyoos and Mrs. T. (Pbylis) Thompkins of Whitby, Ontario; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Fawcett of Nelson, B.C. and Mrs. Nellie Wilson of Trail, B.C. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at p.m. in Martin Bars. Chapel, 812 3rd Ave; S. with Rev. A. T. King officiating. Cremation will follow.
