He was born in Herborn. West October 1892. The late Mr. Gail and family came to Canada in 1924 to Pi richer where they resided until when they moved l.o Hillcrest where they have resided since. He was employed by Hillcrest Mohawk and Coleman Collieries Mines until his retirement in 1954. At the'time of his he was residing at the home of his son in Hillcrest. He married the former Louise Pheiffer in April 1921 in Germany. He was member of the Coleman Local the Hillcrest Miners' Club and the Belle- Crest Senior Citizens. He was predeceased by his wife Louise in HilLcrest in September his one sister and two brothers in Germany. Survivors include one son Erwin of one Mrs. K. Red five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in Fantin's Blairmore May 2 at with Rev. Douglas Dunn officiating. Interment will follow in the family Hillcrest Cemetery.
