Born in Bukovina, Austria in 1891, the late Mr. Orich came to Canada in 1911, and to Lethbridge in 1912. He worked as a coal miner in Leth- bridge and district, and farmed at Eight Mile Lake until his retirement in the late 1950's. He was a member of the Miner's Library and the United Min Workers. He is survived by fou sons, Mike, Matt, John and Bil Orich, all of Lethbridge; fou daughters, Mrs. V. (Lena) Cle ments, Mrs. Mary Lazarick Mrs. A. (Rose) Sawchuk, am Mrs. F. (Victorai) Bodie, all o Lethbridge; thirty grandchil dren and five great-grandchil dren; and one niece in Austria The funeral service will held on Saturday at a.m. in the Memorial Chapel, 703 13th St. N. with Rev. Father N. Diadio officiating. Intermen: will follow in Mount Calvary Section of Mountain View Cem- etery. Martin Bros. Ltd., Di- rectors of Funeral Service. Born Mrs. Fabrik has been a resi- dent of Milk River for the past 15 years. She is survived by two daughters, Julia and Ann, both in Yugoslavia and several nieces and nephews. C7841 C7842 DEAL Henry passed away in the city on Thursday, April 30th, 1970, at the age of 63 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Clara Deal of 1131 12 St. B S. Mr. Deal was bom in N ew Straub, Russia and came to Canada with the family in 1912 settling in Calgary where they lived for three years before moving to Saskatchewan where they lived for six years and then moved back to Vulcan to a homestead, here they lived un- til moving to Raymond in 1936 for four years and then moved to Lethbridge where they have continued to live until the time of his passing. For a number of years he worked as a carpen- ter and for the past 15 years worked as a caretaker. Left to mourn his passing besides his loving wife Clara are four sons Harold, Robert, Gerald and Donald all of Lethbridge; two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Dolo- res) Schimpf of Calgary and Linda at home; 10 grandchil- dren; two brothers, Conrad of Vulcan, and Dave of Champion; two sisters, Marie of Calgary and Molly of Portland, Oregon. Predeceased by one son, Alvin in 1960. Funeral services will be held in the Christian Mis- sionary Alliance Church (1202 3 Ave. S.) on Saturday, May 2nd, 1970 at 2 p.m. with Rev. D. Morscheck officiating. Inter- ment will follow.in the family plot in the Archmount Me- morial Gardens. Born in Northumber- land in 1893, the late Mrs. Branch came to Lethbridge in 1913, and after residing in Fort Macleod, Monarch, Picture Butte and Diamond City, re- Aimed to Lethbridge in 1953. She was first matron of ths Jose Chapter of Uie Eastern Star in Picture Butte. Survi- vors include three sons, Alec H. of Calgary, Ke.-jieth A. of Moose Jaw, and Howard J. of Picture Butte; one daughter Mrs. R. (Elaine) Scoble of Lethbridge; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. J. (Maggie) King of Lethbridge and Mrs. H. (Lil- lian) Rutledge of Picture Butte; three brothers, Albert Pearson of Lethbridge, Wilfred Pearson of Calgary and Cecil Pearson of Kimberely, B.C. The funeral service will be held on Saturday at p.m. in Southminster United Church with Rev. Dr. R. W. K. Elliott officiating. Cremation will fol- low.
