He bad been asked in the Commons whether he would formally convey such information. John Skoberg (NDP-Moose Jaw), who asked the question, said he supports the prohibition. CITES FRUSTRATION OTTAWA (CP) - Prime Minister Trudeau was asked in the Commons Tuesday to see that his cabinet supports death penalties imposed by the courts-Douglas Alkenbrack (PC-Fron-tenace-Lenim-Addington) r e-ferred to "frustrations of our police forces because of the cabinet's lack of compliance in support of the course in implement" ing the death penalty." The Trudeau cabinet has commuted all death sentences to terms of life imprisonment in cases com* ing before it. BILL APPROVED OTTAWA (CP) - The Com. mons gave final approval Tuesday to a private member's bill setting aside the second week of October each year to making Canadians more aware of poUu* tion problems. The bill, span* sored by Tom Goode (L-Burr* aby-Richmond-Delta) already has been approved by the Senate. It now requires only royal assent to become law. Canadian Environment Week would be marked by special school classes and a special education program to make individual Canadians more informed about how they can fight pollution. CAR SEIZED OTTAWA (CP) - A car belonging to the Company of Young Canadians was seized by the RCMP at Yellowknife, N.W.T., last February, Solid.-tor-General Jean-Pierre Goyer said here. Replying in the Commons to Paul Yewchuk (PC -Athabasca), the minister said the car was seized during an investigation of the bombing of a building in Hay River, once (he property of the U.S. government which had used it as part of s radar warning line operation.
