The sponsor of the new centre is lilie Victoria branch of the BCGEU, whose 2,000 members put up $4,000 for operation and renovation of a building with facilities for cai-e of 20 children aged thiree to five on a non-profit basis. Union electricians, carpenters and other tradesmen donated theii' time and skills to the renovation job.
