She was predeceased by her husband Percy in 1977. Florence was born in Monitor, Alberta in May ol 1917, coming to Lelhbridge in October 1940 wilh her parenls Martin and Ida Anderson. She played in the family orchestra which was a popular dance band in Southern Alberta for many years. She married Percy Mclntosh in 1951 and farmed in the Nobleford, Magralh and Spring Coulee areas. Returning to Moblelord in 1958 where they raised Iherr family until her retirement in 1986. Florence retired lo Lelhbridge where her home became a stopover lor many friends and family. Great grand- children are Deyan and Miranda McCharles. Lillian is also survived by brolhers Bob (Sena) MacKay, Andy (Milly) MacKay and sisters Isabel Branum, Audrey (Frank) Jorgensen and Betty (Wally) Olmstead, as well as many nieces and nephews, Lillian was predeceased by her husband Murray in 1977, and sister Anna in 1973 as well as her parents, Andrew and Hannah MacKay. Lillian was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be sadly missed by all that knew her. She was a genlle, caring person who enjoyed cooking, handicrafts, listening lo music, and family gatherings. STANLEY (STAN) LINITSKI, husband of Mrs. Eva Linitski of Picture Butte, passed away at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital, Intensive Care Unit, on Saturday, March 20, 1999 at the age of 82 years. Born in Beausejour, Manitoba, Stan moved with his family to Raymond, Alberta when he was 10 years of age. II was here he completed his schooling, made many Iriends and started his family. In the 1930's Stan worked for the CPR. In the fall of 1941 he had his first with Canadian Sugar Factories at the Raymond plant. In 1964 he was transferred to the Picture Butte operation and later became sugar end foreman. He retired in 1982. Stan will be remembered lor his infinite palience, his kindness, understanding, positive approach to life and his undying sense of humor. He, his brothers and their father built Stan and Eva's first house in Raymond. Little did they know that this home and Ihe home in Picture Bulte would also be occupied by their children for the next 50 years! Thank you, Dad. Stan enjoyed working with had innovative ideas for recycling and enjoyed traveling and seeing new sights. In his 70's he spent many hours at the hockey arena with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Eva Linitski, children Sharon Linitski of Kamloops, Lori (Yoshi) Tanabe of Picture Butte and Terry (Melinda) Linilski of Lethbridge. Grandson Jesse and granddaughters Jenny and Tiffany Tanabe will greatly miss their grandfather. He is also survived by brolhers Joe Linitsk] of Raymond, and John (Phillis) Linitski of Didsbury and sisters Amy (Bob) MacKenzie of Raymond and Caroline Linilski of Spruce Grove. Slan will also be remembered by his uncle, Bill (Mary) Stadnicki of Lethbridge and his nieces and nephews and cousins. Stan was predeceased by his parents and by his sister, Helen Jones, and nephew f4athan Jones. ARIE RAYMOND KONYNENBELT Sr. was taken home to be with his Lord and Saviour, with his family by his side, alter a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband and companion of Mrs. Aleida Konynenbell. Arie was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on June 19, 1937. He was raised on the family farm in Nobleford, AB. While attending Noble Central School his talent and passion for sports grew. He participated in many organized sports. There was no sport he could not master: Basketball fastball were his first loves and as time went on curling and golf. Through all the blessings and challenges in life, he always gave all praise and honor lo his Lord and Saviour. Keith was a Heavy Equipment Operator and worked in construction most of his life. He was a loving father and cared deeply for his children Treena and Troy. He enjoyed the outdoors including fishing, hunting, camping and loved lo play bingo. Keith was a soft spoken and pleasant individual who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
