Miss Moore, star of her own show on CBS, was chosen by the Hollywood Radio and Television Society. More than broadcast and advertising executives gathered at a hotel here for the dinner. The dinner also recognized radio and television commercials chosen as the world's best for 1973 from more than entries from 40 countries. Miss Moore was chosen because the Mary Tyler Moore Show opened a new dimension of television situation comedy, said Gerald Leider, president of the society. NEW HAVEN, Conn. The 1925 film version of the German Composer's Der Rosenkavalier will be shown here March 29, with the Yale Symphony playing the Strauss music. It will be the first integrated presentation since 1926, says John Mauceri of Yale School of Music. LOS ANGELES (AP) Four children of actor Mickey Rooney's fifth wife have been adopted by their mother's parents. The children had lived in California with the grandparents since 1966, after their mother, Barbara Thomason. was shot to death by a Yugoslav actor. Rooney, 54, had joint guardianship of the children, but failed to obtain sole custody in a 1972 suit. The judge ruled that the best interests of the children are served by the regularity, reliability and stability of living with the grandparents. MEN'S T-SHIRTS 100% cotton. Sizes S.M.L.
