From p.m. The Wayne Newton Show stars Wayne' Newton and a large cast of popular Canadian performers, singing and making comedy for sixty colorful min- utes. At p.m. viewers can enjoy Jimmy Stewart and Helen Hayes in a brand new version of their groat Broadway production of Harvey. James Stewart, for the fourth time in his acting career, por- trays Elwood P. Dowd, whose friendship with an invisib'e rabbit named Harvey prompts his sisler. Miss Hayes, at- tempting to "put him awa; A Pulitzer Prize winning play written by Mary Chase, Hat vcy was first produced for Broadway in 19-14. This produc tion ran for four years with Frank Fay playing Dowd and then Jimmy Stewart. Stewart then recreated his role for the 1951 film version, and played opposite Miss Hayes for too j 1970 Broadway revival. This current version, wlliel) j also features Arlene Francis, Fred Gwynne, John Giver.
