Former astronaut Gordon Cooper and his wife, Gertrude, havo been divorced after al- most 25 years of marriage. Cooper, one of the original astronauts in the United States space program, was granted a divorce in Miami, Fla. by Cir- cuit Court Judge Jack Falk. He made two space flights in Mercury 9 in 19ft! and Gemini 5 in 1965. Cooper left the space program in July. 1970, to start a management and technical consultants firm in Miami.
