John Bearisto aged 78 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Ethel M. Simpson of 722 15th St. S. Born in New Brunswick in 1892, the late Mr. Simpson moved to Winnipeg at the turn of the century and worked in the Union Depot, C.P.R. from 1914 to 1919. He served over seas as an army lieutenant. He returned to Edmonton, and later went to Etzikom where he continued to work with the C.P.R. until 1930, when he came to Lethbridge in 1942. He joined Trans Canada Airlines, where he was employed until his retirement in 1958. He was a member of the Canadian an old time member of the Masonic Lodge and prior to ill health two months ago, was a very ardent and active fisherman. Survivors include, besides hLj loving wife Ethel, one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Duncan of Lethbridge; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. R. L. (Bessie) Shaw of Massachusetts, U.S.A. and Mrs. G. M. 'Agnes) Laing of New Bnms-vick. He was predeceased by one son. The funeral service vill be held on Monday at p.m. in the Memorial Chapel, 703 13th St. N.. with Rev. Dr. W. K.
