Mr. Strickland is sur- vived by one son, Robert C. Garibaldi, B.C.; one daughter, Mrs. Lawrence W. (Anne) Pe- ters, Calgary; four grandchil- dren and nine great grandchil- dren; also one brother, John, Surrey, B.C. and one sister, Mrs. Harriet Henderson, Scot- land. He was predeceased by his wife, Jane in 1968 and a daughter, Mrs. Isabella Wright in 1971.
