M. Circus Is Coming. One of the acts this season with the all new show of the Greater Norris and Kowe circus and menagerie bears the title "Lucier and his Golden Ladder." It is an odd title and can truly be termed sensational in the extreme, Placed upright in the center of the big tent is a giuiit golden ladder 55 feet high, which means that the ladder is as high as the extreme top of the tent. "Lucier" climbs the ladder round by ronnd until he reaches the topmost rung, there is tt deathly silence as the Band stops playnig. Lucier pauses a moment calmly looks at the audience, gently a white handkerchief flutters to the ground and shows where the acrobat is to fall. He then turns bending backward and down he comes from hifi great height, fulling like a rocket and with the rapidity of a shot out of a gun. Ue hits the ground and seeming to scarcely touch it lightly makes u^series of lightning like backward somersaults and bounda to his feet to smilingly receive the enthusiastic and thunderous applause of the vast crowd who have watchcdiiis act in breath* less suspence. ''Lucier" is but one of a hundred new acts and novelties, Norris and Bowe will exhibit at Lethbridge Wodiiesday, June 27th.
