In the first two hours of the search, 19 suspects had been arrested by RCMP and city policemen. The warrants were issued on evidence gathered by two Van couver city policemen, Dona Walden and David Walmsley who spent 17 weeks posing as narcotics user's. They concentrated on the her oin trade. Of a total of 69 drug purchases. 30 were of heroin police said. All transactions allegedly oc curred in the Vancouver area The last roundup of suspect ed traffickers was May 5 when Vancouver police issued 27 warrants.
