Lethbridge Herald, The (Newspaper) - June 16, 1972, Lethbridge, Alberta THE LETHBRIDGE HERALD Fdidoy, June 16, 1972 'What I Did Last Summer' deals with OFY program On Thursday, June 22 at p.m., What I Did Last Sum- mer is the subject of CTV's Canadian produced documen- tary series, Quality Life. In the summer of 1972 the youth of Canada were invited to take part in an experiment- in-commitment. They were ask- ed, in Uie "Opportunities For Youth" program sponsored by the Federal Government to in- vent and then carry out pro- jects in human relations, re- search, community improve- ment communications, the arts and sciences. The results were as varied as the young people, I Pi all of them, who took iart. This film, which was shot mostly by the young people themselves, includes two ori- ginal folk songs specially com- posed and performed for it by Dianne Labrosse. The produc- tion documents a cross-section of projects and young people, from Vancouver to Sackville, N.B., with visits to the Prair- ies, Ontario, Quebec and P.E.I, WILL STAR Bill Cosby will star in a movie called Man and Boy.
