D. Higinbotham & Co., Ltd. CITY CAN NOW PUSH THE STREET RAILWAY INTO NORTH LETHBRIDGE A level crossing at Thirteenth St. is now assured. Complaints against the delay in the street railway work in North Lethbridge have been many during the past few days. There has been- a reason. The city, while assured by the Railway Com-jnissiou at Edmonton that the level crossing at Thirteenth St., would he allowed, had received no formal notice from the government. To do a lot of work in the North Lethbridge portion of the system and then find that the order is not to be granted owing to another arrangement with the railway would have placed the street railway department in a bad light: All their troubles in this direction arq. over, however, and the system j can proceed with the construction of the level crossing any time now, for ; i he order for the crossing came this morning. | The order was dated May 26, and i provides for a level crossing for one j year from that date, with such ex-I tensions a nray he granted by the IRailway Commission.
