The CTV crew under Sports Direc- tor Joihmny will be giving comprehensive coverage on a total of 40 games, including 42 league games, three playoffs and, of ecurse, the Grey Cup game which will be held in To- ronto this year. The majority of tha telecasts will be in color and two c'orble haaders have been included in the schedule. The SCD son will get under wav on Tisc-Hiiay, July 23 when CTV will telecast from lira Em- pire Stadium in Vancouver the game between last year's West- era champions, the Srekniche- v.-sun Rougbridcrs, and the B.C. Liters. This game will be seen in the West only. TP i A ITH 1 alee A I ri] Aboard 747 ouig Jet The Magnificent Flying Ma- chine, a one-hour color film trip aboard a 747 Boeing jet air- liner, will be telecast on CBC- TV, Saturday, June G, at 10 p.m. on Channel 7. Produced and directed by Don Cameron of the network's Thursday Night series, the spe- cial takes viewers on a return flight from New York to Lon- don, and Cameron talks to the Pan American pilot who flew the first 747 commercial flight in February, 3970. The big jet, now in service on A i r France, Lufthansa and TWA airlines as well as Pan American, -is already beginning to revolutionize air travel, the program points out. Airports arc busy making major adjust- ments to handle the big planes and the masses of passengers they will carry.
