His father died when he was three years old and shortly after his mother took the family and moved to Canada, settling in Raymond in 1903. His brother Bill took a homestead in 1909 in the Barn-well district and the family moved onto i! to help work and develop it. At eighteen, Neal took over and operated a store in Barmvell. In 1921 he married Luella Wight in Salt Lake City and they made their home in Earmvfill, where they continued to reside until moving to Lethbridge in 1954. He was an active member of the L.D.S. Church and held the office of a high nriest. He established the first Fanners Market in Lcthbridge. Left to mourn his passing are two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Pearl) Baker of Calgary and Mrs. Richar.'. (Lois) Jones of Ml. View; seven sons, Lawrence of Sherman, Texas, Homer of Hartsdale, N.Y., Melvin of Los Angeles, Calif.; Don and Glen of Lethbridge, Dale of Edmonton and Eddie of Costa Mesa, Calif.; 40 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren; one brother Ralph of Salt Lake City. He was predeceased by his wife Luella in 1969 and by a son Joseph in 1928. Funeral services will be held in the North Side L.D.S. Chapel on Thursday, July 29th at 2 p.m., with Bishop Harris B.
