The Conference on Arid Lands be held at the University ot Lethbridge Aug. 3 to 8. Par- ticipants will include several Russian geographers and a re- nowned Australian geomorphol- ogist. The conference is part of the 22nd International Geographi- cal Congress to be held in Mon- treal Aug. 10 to 17. The public is invited to at- tend all meetings and field trips.
