Jlacdonald Company, Limited, Wholesale Grocers, has been changed to Western Grocers. Limited, yupplementary letters patent recently issued by the Dominion Government, and applied for by the officers of The A. Macdonald Company, Limited, are authority for the change. In making this announcement the Company also says that one reason for the change is that the business has outgrown its old name.* During the past few years the institution's trade has grown steadily until it now covers the entire west. It operates wholesale grocery houser. in ten important distributing centers between the Great Lakes and the Pacific Coast. In Manitob;i, Saskatchewan and Alberta these wholesale houses have been conducted under the name of The A. Macdonald Company, Limited. In British Columbia under the^ name of The Leeson. Dickie, Gross & Company, Limited; in Ontario as the Riley Ramsey Company, Limited. The name "Western Grocers Limited" is now being adopted as the designation for all of the Companies composing the interests of this large business organization.
