C470 HOOSE Passed away in Medicine Hat on July Mrs. Edith at the age of 89 beloved wife of the late Mr. David Hoose. formerly of Lethbridge. The late Mrs. Hoose came to Lethbridge in where she had resided until April of this year at which time she moved to Medicine Hat. She is survived by one Mr. Harold Hoose Medicine three and two great- grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband in 1942 and her son Norman in 1974. Born in England in 1904 he came to Canada in 1912 to reside in Medicine Hat. Moving to he married Agnes Lamb in 1928 where he resided until his passing. He outfitted many a youngster during his 31 years with and for the past 10 years was instrumental in the maintain- ing and improvement of the grounds at the Lethbridge Country Club. He was a life member in the Lethbridge Fish and Game and the Lethbridge Trap Club. Besides his loving he is survived by one Ken Pen- nington of two Mrs. I.J. Barss of Panama Mrs. P. M. Hoot of three Daisy Lakeland of Annie White of Vic- B.C. and Mrs. Parks of Medicine three Mr. Fred Pen- nington of Lethbridge and Jack and Wilf Pennington of Medicine and eleven grandchildren. A survey by The Canadian Press from 6 p.m. local times Friday to midnight Sunday showed that 41 persons died in traffic five one perished in a fire and two died in other ac- cidents. The 41 traffic plus 72 during the brought the unofficial death toll on Cana- dian highways to so far this year. Ontario had 20 traffic fatal- two a boy killed when run over by his father's tractor and the man run over by his own boat after being thrown overboard in a collision with another vessel. Quebec reported eight traf- fic deaths and two drownings. Saskatchewan had five traf- fic deaths. British Columbia three and Alberta two. Manitoba had one traffic death and one New Brunswick and Nova Scotia had one traffic death each and Newfoundland had one death in a fire. Prince Edward Island was fatality-free. The survey does not include industrial slayings or known suicides. Princess Radziwill divorced LONDON Prin- cess Lee younger sister of Jacqueline consented in the High Court today to her husband Prince Stanislaus Radziwill being granted a divorce because they have lived for more than two years. Neither was in and the evidence of the 59-year-old Polish-born prince was given on affidavit. The judge granted the parents joint custody of the two care and control of the boy to the prince and care and control of the girl to the princess.
