Lethbridge Herald, The (Newspaper) - July 18, 1970, Lethbridge, Alberta 18 THE IETHBR1DGE HERALD Saturday, July 18, 1970 The Prairie Bible Tabernacle in Three Hills, Alberta was the scene of a wwWirtg between Elizabeth Cornelia Dogterom, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Dogterom of Lethbridgc, and Mr. Raymond Charles Olson, son of Mr. a-nd Mrs. C. A. Olson of Minneapolis, Minne- sota. A double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. A. C. Strom, assisted by Rev. Darnel Goldsmith. Soloists were Mr. Bernard Dogterom of Leth- bridge, brother of the bride, and Miss Theresa Surge of California. A clarinet solo was played by Mr. Paul Rausch. The bride chose a gown of imported lace over tulle with a bodice and train of pearl- trimmed lace and a lace over- skirt caught up with handmade roses. Her chapel length veil was held by a floral headpiece and she carried a cascade bou- quet of -white and pink roses. Maid of honor was Miss Kathleen Sandeyer of Three Hills. Bridesmaids were the Misses Ruth Charter, Three Hills, Geraldine Buries, Medi- cine Hat and Amalie Olson, sis- ,M MR. AND MRS. ROBERT JOHN VARGO by A. E. Cross Vargo-Capron Shirley Anne Capron, daugh- ter of Mr. Alphonse Capron.and Mrs. J. Buckna, became the bride of Mr. Robert John Var- go, son of Mr, and Mrs. John Vargo, all Of Lethbridge. Rev. S. Gyorkos officiated at the dou- ble ring vows which took place in St. Basil's Roman Catholic Church. Organist was Miss Sheila Irwin. The bride chose an A-line gown of peau d'elegance, fea- turing bell sleeves of ehantilly lace, and carried a bouquet of red roses and stephanotis. Maid of honor was Miss Shir- ley Bagu of Lethbridge and bridesmaids were Miss Peggy Vargo, sister of the groom and Mrs. F. (Carol) Capron, cousin
