Canbj, of Calgaij, John Eastwood, a well known local real estate operator, was arrested on Monday night at his home residence, 819 Fifth avenue West, by Detective Yates, on the chaige of swindling the complainant in a large land deal in California The prisoner was ariaign- ed before Police Magistrate Sanders on Tuesday morning, and is held In bail.
