Thomas, chairman of the streets com- mittee, has resigned his town council seat Mr. Thomas, man- ager of a local bank branch for some years, is now employed as personnel manager for Safeway Shelter Systems Ltd. FITNESS AWARDS RAYMOND (HNS) Princi- pal Gerald J. Gibb recently presented Canada Fitness Awards to June Masuda, daughter of Mrs. Tsuruye Ma- suda; Peggy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilde; Judy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Anderson and Bonny Gibb, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gibb. SPONSOR PROGRAM FORT MACLEOD The Fort Macleod and District Chamber of Commerce, under the chairmanship of Andy Mackay, will sponsor a half- hour color program to be pro- duced by OPCN-TV. The pro- gram, Reflections In Scarlet and Gold, will pay tribute to the RCMP and depict its first home in the west as it is today. Most of the filming has been completed.
