David McKenzie scored the fifth Blackhawk goal. Al Gonzy and Mike Coghlin scored for the losers. Scallen's parole due VANCOUVER (CP) Tom Scallen, former president of the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League, is expected to be paroled from prison and deported to the United States Feb. 28. The decision to parole Scallen is subject to expected final approval from Ottawa. The parole has been approved by the regional parole board. Scallen, who brought National League Hockey to Vancouver after potential local purchasers balked at the NHL price tag for the franchise, is serving a two year term for issuing a false prospectus and for theft. Scallen is president of Medicor, former parent com- pany of Northwest Sports, which is the parent company of the Canucks. In Bantam B action the Blades defeated the Eagles 4- 1. Clark Bosch scored twice for the winners and Gerald Saccardo and Randy Vahee picked up a goal apiece. Rob Boulton was the lone Eagle goal-getter. The Ti-Cats dropped the Royals 5-1 in Midget play with Rod Ross scoring two for the winners. Ken Gorrie, Bruce Wilkins and Anton Mihaly also scored for the Ti-Cats. Mauro Cattoni replied for the Royals. Kevin Crawford scored for the Flames and Bruce Cousins scored for the Bears as the two clubs battled to a 1-1 tie. In Bantam B play the 4NDY CAPP Blazers outdistanced the Cougars 11-1. Norman Schwarz, Ross Vrabel, Bill Rab and Scott Parenteau all scored two goals while singletons went to Brian MeqUella, Allen Clam- pitt and Robert Wood. Robert Hutton averted the shutout for the Cougars. The Falcons ran up a 10-3 victory .over the Bisons in a Pee Wee contest. David Bodel and Robert Rabb both picked up a hat trick for the winners and Dwayne Sorobey scored two goals. Single efforts came from Cam Provick and Mike Manson.
