Committee As A Whole Favor TheWheatPool Actual Plans Discussed in Win- Have Objections WINNIPEG, Jan. dian meeting of the wheat pool committee of the Canadian Council of Agriculture was held here this morning. No official -announcement was given out of the morning's discussion but a member of the committee Is quoted as saying: "Actual plans of organization were discussed, and, though opposition to phases of the project was voiced by some members, the attitude of the com- mittee as a whole was friendly to the scheme." No definite organization step was effected this morning, It is understood, but the conference will continue .throughout the af- ternoon. C. O. F. Installation of Officers The Canadian Order of Foresters spent a very enjoyable evening last Thursday, January 27th, at their in- stallation of officers, who were duly Installed by H.C.R. Bro.
