Mr. Provcst was born on the Peigan reserve March 2. :SS3. and. joined the army in 1915. He served with the ISth CMR division. He is a Yhny veteran. He saw service in France. Belgium and Germany. He returned home to the re- serve in 1919. He was an interpreter for a time. Mr. Provcst ana his wife will celebrate their 63rd wedding ann-versary this spring. They are parents of rime children, six of whom are still living. With Mr. Provost was his life-long friend and army companion. Bert Patterson. Asked about his Mr. Provost said he was honored by the gesture of a life membership but hopes they don't ask me to make a speech."
