Still Without Car Service Although the street car officials are doing their best to cope with the situation, North Lethbridge was again without car service today, owing to the tracks being, badly snowbound. Lewis Waller Coming An announcement which will arouse a great deal of interest is that Lewis Waller, the distinguished English actor, . will appear at the Majestic Theatre, on February 6. The production will be the well-known play "Marriage de Convenanoe." Black Given Six Months Ivan Black, the youthful miscreant, who yesterday was arrested for stealing a coat from J. S. Hanna, was this morning, arraigned before .Magistrate Elton. Black pleaded guilty to the charge, and was Sentenced to six months' hard labor at the provincial jail. Hig-inbotham last night, and heard encouraging reports. There %vas an informal discussion on the big provincial convention to be held in the autumn, and it was the opinion that so far as Lethbridge folk could contribute to that end, it 'would be- the biggest and best convention In the history of the province. "We lost money owing to the fact that we were selling below cost, but wo were turning our stock into cash, and that is. our object during this sale." As stated in last night's Herald, the Hud-son's Bay stores did more business on Saturday than on any other day since their store was established in the early days.
