Neilson, range riders, claiming to be from Canada, -were arrested at Great Falls on a charge of forgery and were sentenced to a year each in the state penitentiary at Deer Lodge. Hennu- ber passed peacefully away at the alt Hospital. For some three weeks deceased had a patient at the hospital, suffer- ing from typhoid..It was not thought this attack would prove fatal, for ;o iudge from his physique this young man bad many years of useful serv- ice to offer to mankind. Two weeks ago his father came to-the city, being anxious, as to the._ welfare of his son. Since his arrival the father has spent-almost all his time at the bed- side, and it was only a day or so ago that they spoke of the arrange- ments to go home, not in the least- anticipating the near approach of death. The deceased came to this country about two and a half years ago from Dakota. He lived in Taber for some time, conducting a barber shop, after which he came to Lethbridge, and was employed in Alf. Hoseltcn's em- porium until he took ill. He was I one of the most popular and good natured of. the city's brightest young j men and his demise will occasion gen- uine and widespread regret.
