CTVs Wednesday Night Movie presents the suspenseful and intriguing motion picture The Pyx starring Christopher Piummer and Karen Black. Karen Black portrays Elizabeth Lucy, a call girl of unusual complexity who is many different things to many men and women. Christopher Piummer co stars as the tough detec- tive who becomes obsessed by the enigmatic girl and liie mysteries behind her fateful date with The Pyx. As well as meeting the dramatic demands of her role as a call girl. Karen Black has also composed arid performed the three songs that she created es- pecially for the film. For Piummer, his casting as a bard hitting, gum-chewing man of ac- tion is an intriguing depar- ture from the classical roles in which he is usually seen. Both stars are award winners.
