He says it's already happening -an exodus from Hollywood because the old-timers don't like the shape of things today and tomorrow. "John Huston moved to Ireland, Paul Newman to Connecticut, Sammy Davis and Bill Holden to Switzerland; Barbra Streisand, Elliott Gould and Dustin Hoffman live in New York," Boone says. "We're in the global age of picture-making, like it or not. And casettes will finish Hollywood except as a technical centre. This will become the Detroit of the cassette industry- we'll have technicians, but the* directors, actors, writers and' musicians will be gone." Boone is now shooting "The Million Dollar Kidnapping" - and then he'll go home. He RICHARD BOONE lives in Hawaii, but will be in Israel for two years making films. He's another who is long gone from Hollywood.
