Mr. Getty said Alberta wants to discuss the concept of In- cluding British Coluir.Ha in the new council at the meeting of the prairie council scheduled Jan. 13 in Reglna. Ballet star ill LONDON (CP) Canadian ballerina Lynn Seymour is ill with suspected glandular fever, says a spokesman for the Royal Ballet at Covent Garden. She will be out of action for some weeks. Philbrick pleaded guilty to the charge in provincial court last month. He was arrested last August after police found 75 pounds of marijuana on his fruit farm near here. Court was toW the marijuana would be worth about it sold on the street. A charge of possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking was withdrawn against Philbrick at the pre- vious court session. Philbrick, who voluntarily quit the Tiger-Cats after his ar- rest, and his brother, Gerald, Z7, still await trial on some charges in Niagara Falls, Ont. Wayne Philbrick was charged with breaking and entering with intent to commit an indictable offence and indecent assault fol- lowing an incident in Niagara Palls last Dec. 9. Gerald was charged with common assault in connection with the same inci- dent. Both are to appear in Niagara Falls court Jan. 10. Slapping priest excommunicated SULMONA, Italy (AP) A Roman Catholic priest from Rome who slapped his bishop in a dispute over whether he would have to live in a little mountain diocese here has been excom- municated, the bishop's office announced Wednesday. The dispute began when the priest, Don Giulio Corte, refused to move from Rome to take up new duties here, the office said. The priest was accused of slapping Bishop Francesco Amadio Nov. 6 and locking him in his office. A Vatican spokesman said the excommunication for such an offence is automatic. The excommunication could be lifted by the Pope or by the bishop with the Pope's authori- zation, the Vatican said.
