Lethbridge Herald (Newspaper) - January 4, 1971, Lethbridge, Alberta 14 - THI IBTHMIDOI HWA10 - Monday, January 4, 1971- Your horoscope By Jeane Dixon TUESDAY, JAN. 5 Tour birthday today: Your enterprises now have to be diversified - you get more things to do, more power and, if you demand it, more income. What happens this year is like a bridge to the future; it's thus an excellent time for all sorts of preparations, study of new disciplines. E m otional develop- ments come clear and strong. Today's natives are usually very astute at all types of reckoning, accounting, economics. ARIES (March 21-April 19): Let others do the talking-they progably want to have things go your way. Changes of existing contracts come easier now -ask for what you really need. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20): LAWRENCE E. LAMB, M. D, Age no barrier to sex-doctor Dear Dr. Lamb - My husband and I have been married for nearly 50 years but I am thinking very seriously of leaving him. He takes no interest in anything except sex. He will not play cards, golf, go fishing or any of the other things that men of his age seem to enjoy. He takes no interest in local affairs or in politics or in his neighbors. I am miserable for hours after love - making. Is this obsession an indication of approaching senility? Dear Reader - No, I doubt that his problem is senility. Perhaps he just doesn't care for cards, golf or fishing. Some men don't. Incidentally, there are a lot of women your age who would love to have that kind of a husband. I get many letters from women with just the opposite complaint. Sex is not to be ashamed of or hidden. It is part of normal life and function. Perhaps you really need medical attention, not a new husband. Your doctor or gynecologist could help you. Perhaps some local treatment and female hormone would relieve the problem for both of you. Funeral today for Age is not a barrier to sex and it is one way of expressing love for another person. I think it is wonderful that after 50 years of marriage your hus band loves you that much. Dear Dr. Lamb - I am In my 50s. Do you know of any kind of cream or powder that I can get to cover up my wrinkles. Boy, I got them and I sure would be happy if you could help me. Dear Reader - Other than make-up to cover up wrinkles I am afraid you won't have too much success. You can spend a fortune on lotions and creams billed to cure wrinkles. The oily ones often cause other problems. In this age of wigs, false eyelashes, straightening of the teeth and many other cosmetic procedures there is really no reason to hesitate about having cosmetic plastic surgery if you need it. The only problem is to stay out of the hands of the quacks. You can avoid this by getting from your county medical society the name of one or more reputable plastic surgeons who do cosmetic surgery. It is expensive but in the long run it may be cheaper than creams. Of course, some people wear their wrinkles proudly as badges of experience. You will like much of what comes to pass today. Old hopes are encouraged. Your group finds a streak of luck going. Entertainment fits tonight's mood. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20): An old friend's advice turns out to be right. Ask a good price for anything yAl9I The bidding has proceeded: East Sooth West North Pais 1 Pass Pass ? What do you bid now? a.-Two no trump. While It Is true that two diamonds would be forcing and may be regarded as a proper bid, we feel that unless a Jump Is made at this point It will be more difficult for you to make a manlfestsUon of strength on later rounds. Dr. Michael Ramsey, spiritual leader of the Anglican Church, said in a radio interview: "I see signs of people realiz ing that all the sheer permiS' siveness in its silly forms is beginning to be rather boring-rather boring and conventional and out of date. "And in that sort of way, sense a hit of a revolt from it." The archbishop said he was referring especially to the young. "Among young people, whom I lovo and see as much of as I can, I do note again and again, a seriousness in being ready to think about God and the claims j of God and that gives me I hope."
