We know that Jascha Heifetz is the violinist in the background. But is he the cute little fiddler sitting on the roof and running around Topol? MRS. PATRICIA TROXELL, Ventura, Calif. No and it wasn't Heifetz who played the background, either. Isaac Stern was-the violinist for the film and, on camera, the fiddler was played by an actor named Tutte Lemkow. DEAR DICK: Could you please tell me where I could send for TV stars' pictures? FRANCIS REITMEYER, Plymouth, -Wis. I suggest everybody clip this out because I won't answer it again. For ABC stars, write to ABC, 4151 Prospect' Aye., Los Angeles, Calif. 90027. CBS: 7800 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles, Calif. 90036. And NBC is at 3000 W. Alameda Blvd., Burbank, Calif. 91505. DEAR DICK: In the series, Sierra, who sings the title song and is it available on a record? GLENN R. CAMPBELL, New Orleans, La. Benny Brooks is the vocalist on the song called "Sierra." It was recorded on an MCA-UNI record. When the show was cancelled they cancelled the release of the record, too. DEAR DICK: I saw a young lady in a recent Rockford Files named Corinne Michaels who bore a most remarkable resemblance to Jessica Walter. Could there be any relationship? GENE F. DRAKEFORD, East Ridge, Tenn. No, none at all. Miss Michaels used to act under the name of Corinne Camacho, incidentally. DEAR DICK: Why don't they take Carol Burnett off the air? She is too vulgar. W. W., Royal Center, Ind. Vulgarity is in the eyes and ears of the beholder, W., and most people think Carol is as vulgar as a new-, born guppy. A few double entendres, perhaps, but mostly done with almost a Open lor home service 10 a.m.-10 p.n 524 5th ST. S. Quasar Quasar childlike innocence. I think the problem is with you, not Carol. DEAR DICK: I would like to know if the script for Planet of the Apes, the TV program, says for Virdon and Burke to get back to earth in their own time. LISA BEGUN, Salinas, Calif. No, they never will. No sifch script has been written. Since the show has been cancelled it never will be. The guys are trapped forever with all the apes. DEAR DICK: Is it true Cathy Hawn and Dean Martin got a divorce? And what is Dean Martin doing this season? L. M. GALLAGHER, Get- tysburg, Pa. Untrue. Cathy and Dean are still lovey dovey, as far as anybody can tell. Dean is doing a series of those roasts of famous peo- ple this season. I believe there will be six of them in all. Bob Hope was the sub- ject of the first. Questions for Dick Kleiner should be addressed: Dick Kleiner, Toronto Sun Syndicate, 322 King Street West, Toronto, Ont. M5V U4.
