SIBLEY Passed away in Magrath on Tuesday, February after a brief illness, Mr. Bertram (Bert) Frank Sibley at the age of 82 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Pauline Sibley of Magrath. Born in North Hamptonshire, England the late Mr. Sibley came to Canada in 1911 to Mountain View, Alta. In 1916 he took up homestead and farmed at Twin River, Alta. In 1965 he moved to Magrath, where he ias resided until his passing. Besides his loving wife Pauline, he is survived by five sons, Eart of Coutts, Roy of Vlagrath, Floyd of Chateau, Montana, Cecil and Lyle of Drayton Valley; three daughters, Mrs. A. E. (Irene) Davidson of Buffalo, Alta., Mrs. Calvin (Eva) Rains of Warner, and Mrs. G. C. (Fay) Cooper of Calgary; twelve grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Kitty Simmons, Mrs. W. (Florrie) Millard, Mrs. John (Olive) Wheatley, Mrs. Wm. (Gladys) Measures, all in England. The funeral service will be held at p.m. on Monday, March 4, 1974 in Magrath United Church, with Rev. James S. Ruxton officiating.
