She was born in Newtown, County Durham, England, February 7, 1890. She came to Canada in 1905 to Sarnia, Ontario and to Frank, Alberta in 1908. She was a stenographer in the former Frank Sanitorium. She was a life member of the Eastern Star and past matron and a former member of the United Church Women's Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband Henry (Harry) Moore in Blairmore in 1962; three brothers, Parker, Joseph and Jack and a sister Emma Kidd all in Blairmore. Survivors in elude two daughters, Mrs. Caroline Lamey and Mrs. Roy (Dorothy) McNutt both of Blairmore; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Annie May Perry of Blairmore. Funeral service will be held in Fantin's Blairmore Chapel on Tuesday, March 2, 1971 at 4 p.m., with Rev. Bob Smith officiating. Cremation to follow. No flowers by request. The deceased was bom in Victoria, and resided there until the Japanese evacuation in 1942. At the time of his death, he carried on a photographic business in Windsor. Okamoto, of Taber, Alberta, two brothers, S'am, of Winnipeg, Tamo of Taber, and four sisters, Haruco, Mrs. iE. (Michi-co) Ishida, Mrs. Tak (Mary) Saruwatari, Irene, all of Taber, Alberta. He was predeceased by his father, George, in 1963 and a brother, Stum, in 1957.
