He returned to Taber in 1953 to retire. Sui-vivors are his wife, Freda of Taber; one son, Harry (Billy), Portland, Oregon; three sisters, Mrs. H. Craft' and Mrs. H. N. Kinniburgh, both of Taber, Mrs. R. Danforth, Black Diamond, and five grandchildren. Mr. Sherburne is the test of seven sons, three of whom have passed away in the past nine months.
